1-Piece apex seals span the entire apex seal slot meaning they use no assist-pieces/side-pieces (still requires corner seals).

All Goopy Apex Seals are designed with strength and longevity in mind. Made from "Goopy-Alloy" in the USA, these seals will support all your needs from stock engine overhauls to high horsepower builds.

Installation Guide:

These 1-piece apex seals come 3.149" wide, as they were created for a brand new factory housing 3.150" wide. This creates a 0.001" clearance for an ideal housing but different engine builders prefer different clearances. Keep in mind that 1-piece apex seals, unlike 2-piece ones, cannot adapt to different housing widths and must be installed carefully to prevent binding.

Many housings will change in width over their lifespan so we recommend you measure your own housing's width and clearance your 1-piece apex seals accordingly. To start, we recommend a clearance of 0.001" to 0.0015" which maintains good sealing for low-end torque, but you may clearance your seals to suit your unique usage.
